A prominent mental health service provider in Birmingham is seeking a qualified Ward Manager for the Eden Male Acute Ward. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Registered Nurse (RMN) at Band 6 or above, showcasing strong leadership and clinical skills. Responsibilities include managing clinical services and direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in mental health care and provide mentorship to junior staff.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Manager on the Eden Male Acute Ward. The successful candidate will be a qualified Registered Nurse (RMN) with significant experience at Band 6 or above within an Acute or PICU setting.
You will participate with the multidisciplinary team and undertake direct involvement in patient care. You are expected to manage and direct the delivery of clinical services within the unit, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, current legislation and quality standards. Proven leadership skills and clinical excellence are required: you will provide leadership and mentoring, act as a positive role model for junior staff and reflect the philosophy of the service and the values of the organisation. In your role you will receive support and supervision from the Clinical Nurse Manager to develop your practice further.
Qualified Registered Nurse (RMN), Band 6 or above in an Acute or PICU setting, with significant experience. Evidence of proven leadership skills, clinical excellence and the ability to manage and direct clinical services.
