Job Title:Staff Counsellor Psychologist
Band: 7
Location: London, Greater London
Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week

We are currently seeking a Band 7 Staff Counsellor Psychologist to join our esteemed client’s team in London, Greater London. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Staff Counsellor Psychologist,youplay a vital role in nurturing the emotional well-being of employees by offering confidential counseling, conducting psychological assessments, and responding to crises with empathy and expertise.Youempower individuals to manage stress, build resilience, and navigate personal or professional challenges through tailored support and training.Yourinsights guide leadership in creating a mentally healthy workplace, whileyourethical care and referrals ensure staff receive the help they need. By championing mental health,youbecome a trusted pillar of support, helping others thrive both personally and professionally.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Hold a doctorate in either Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
  • Be HCPC registered.
  • Have previous experience with neurological conditions.
  • Be analytical and show good attention to detail.
  • Experience in working with trauma with adults and working with complex presentations.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with veterans or military personnel.
