Job Opportunity: Band 7 Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist within Stroke Team in Ilford, earning up to £32 per hour. Ongoing part-time position available (2 days).   • Create and implement resources for therapeutic intervention tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide multidisciplinary support to clients facing a range of communication and swallowing challenges.
  • Offer feedback, advice, and training to family members, carers, and the multidisciplinary team regarding patient care strategies.
  • Utilize highly specialist clinical skills for interpretive assessment techniques, such as reading videofluoroscopic or FEES examinations.
Requirements
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration is mandatory.
  • Experience working in community settings within the NHS.
  • A valid driving license is essential to commute between different work locations.
