Job Title:Speech and Language Therapist
Grade:Band 6/7 (as applicable)
Location:Mitcham, Surrey
Working Hours:22.5 hours per week

We are currently seeking a passionate and experiencedSpeech and Language Therapistto join our client’s specialist team inMitcham, Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children and young people with complex needs in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. The role is available on alocum basiswith animmediate startand offerscompetitive rates.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will deliver specialist therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex communication needs. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments. You will support and guide staff teams, contribute to care planning, and provide training and supervision. The role requires initiative, creativity, and a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with theHCPC
  • Proven experience delivering therapy to children and young people with complex needs
  • Experience supporting teams around a child or young person
  • Confident, engaging, and effective in modelling, guiding, leading, and training
  • Highly organised and proactive
  • Committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people
  • Experience in team supervision and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Must be acar driverdue to travel requirements
