Salary: £47,000 – £53,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role

Abingdon House School is seeking a Lead Speech and Language Therapist (Band 7) to join our outstanding multidisciplinary therapy team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist ready to take the next step into a leadership position, providing both hands-on therapy and strategic oversight across the school.

As our Lead Speech and Language Therapist , you will :

• Manage and supervise a team of Speech and Language Therapists and Therapy Assistants.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions for pupils with speech, language, and communication needs.
• Lead on assessment, therapy planning, and progress monitoring across Prep and Senior phases.
• Provide SaLT input for EHCPs, annual reviews, and staff training.
• Promote evidence-based communication strategies across the curriculum.

About You

• HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist with RCSLT membership.
• Significant post-qualification experience (Band 7).
