A leading healthcare provider in the UK seeks a Specialist Pharmacist for cancer, nutrition, and paediatric services. Responsible for delivering clinical pharmacy services and managing aseptic operations, this role requires a Master's degree in Pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council. The candidate should possess strong communication skills, relevant hospital experience, and be available for flexible shifts. Competitive salary offered, ranging from £56,276 to £63,176 annually.
The post holder is responsible for delivering and helping the Principal Pharmacists todevelop a high quality pharmacy service across a variety of different specialities on arotational basis, in accordance with objectives set by section leads. This will includeproviding clinical pharmacy services to cancer services, clinical nutrition and paediatricspecialities, and managing the day-to-day running of aseptic services, includingcytotoxic and central intravenous additive services and dispensary services for cancerpatient.
The post holder will be providing clinical pharmacy services to cancer services, clinical nutrition and paediatric specialities, and managing the day-to-day running of aseptic services, including cytotoxic and central intravenous additive services and dispensary services for cancer patients.The post holder will work approximately 9 month blocks in the following rotations:- Cancer Services Dispensary Service with Cancer Services Clinical Pharmacy.- Central Intravenous Additive Service with Paediatric Clinical Pharmacy.- Total Parenteral Nutrition Service with TPN and Production Service.- Cancer Services Clinical Pharmacy.
