A regional mental health organization in Birmingham seeks an ambitious Project Manager to join its Programme Management Office. You will manage key projects aimed at enhancing patient care while collaborating with diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification and substantial project management experience. This role includes hybrid working from home and the Trust HQ.
Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) is looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Project Manager to join its established, dynamic Programme Management Office. The post holder will manage a range of innovative and strategically important projects across key Digital and Service Redesign programmes aimed at enhancing patient care across the Trust and the wider region.
BSMHFT is one of the largest mental health Foundation Trusts in the country, providing services to a culturally and socially diverse population. It is a digitally‑led organisation that received Global Digital Exemplar status in 2022 for its digital achievements.
• Experience with project management tools and techniques and the ability to apply them to complex work. • Comprehensive understanding of benefit management and effective management of risks and issues across projects. • Excellent communication skills to engage with colleagues at all levels. • Delegated responsibility for planning, managing, and coordinating agreed projects while maintaining project documentation in line with Programme Management Office processes.
Applicants should be educated to a degree level or equivalent, hold a PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification, and have a minimum of two years' experience in at least two of the following:
