A leading mental health trust is seeking a Band 7 Senior Practitioner for Safeguarding Children to join their dedicated safeguarding team. Candidates should have significant experience and knowledge in safeguarding, along with a professional qualification in health and social care being advantageous. This role includes extensive coordination of safeguarding activities and contributions to multi-agency reviews, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in child safeguarding practices.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Senior Practitioner for Safeguarding Children to join our Safeguarding team within the Trust.
You have a proven track record in safeguarding and are able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and skills relevant to safeguarding children. You will have a working knowledge of the relevant legal framework. A professional qualification in health and social care would be an advantage.
You will operate as a lead practitioner for safeguarding within a defined geographical area and may hold a thematic trust-wide lead for a specific area of safeguarding practice, e.g., complex presentations or exploitation.
You will be responsible for the coordination of Trust safeguarding activities within your area, including:
