A leading mental health organization in Bath is seeking a Senior Practitioner for Safeguarding Adults. The role involves supporting practitioners with safeguarding issues, conducting audits, and leading initiatives in specific safeguarding areas. Candidates should have a Professional Qualification in health and social care and experience in mental health settings. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead safeguarding practices across a defined locality.
This is an exciting time to join our safeguarding team, we work trust wide supporting practitioners working with safeguarding adults. The post holder will be responsible for supporting practitioners in an identified locality, in addition to supporting safeguarding colleagues Trust wide.
About you
As an ideal Candidate you will be forward thinking, innovative and looking to further develop your career in the Safeguarding arena. Experience of working within mental health and learning disabilities is desirable.
Senior Practitioners for Safeguarding Adults ( band 7)
You will have a proven track record in safeguarding and be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and skills relevant to safeguarding and able to apply the relevant legal framework. A Professional Qualification in health and social care is essential.
You will be operating as a lead practitioner for safeguarding within a defined geographical area and will have a thematic trust wide lead for a specific area of safeguarding practice eg modern slavery or self-neglect.
