Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is recruiting a Band 7 Radiotherapist to join their client’s team in Birmingham. The role focuses on planning and delivering precise radiotherapy treatments and ensuring high standards of patient care.

You will work with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams, maintain accurate records, calibrate equipment, and adhere to safety and quality guidelines. UK HCPC registration and at least 2 years' experience are required; ASAP start with 7.5-hour days, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent.
• HCPC registration.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in therapeutic radiography.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Radiotherapist to join our client’s team in Birmingham. This role involves providing high-quality radiotherapy treatment to patients, ensuring the delivery of precise and effective therapeutic interventions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the care and management of patients undergoing radiotherapy.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities include planning and delivering radiotherapy treatments, ensuring accurate dose delivery, and monitoring patient responses to treatment. The role involves working closely with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans. The Radiotherapist will also be responsible for maintaining detailed patient records, ensuring all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Providing support and reassurance to patients throughout their treatment journey is a key aspect of this role.
