Job summary

Day Webster Group in Birmingham is recruiting for a Band 7 Practitioner Psychologist to support our client. This post is offered as full time or part time with 37.5 hours.

You will deliver a clinical psychology service to children with neurodevelopmental needs, provide specialist diagnosis and therapy, and advise other professionals while working autonomously within the team. HCPC registration, Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, CAMHS and NHS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) is required.
• CAMHS experience is essential.
• NHS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a clinical psychology service commensurate with doctoral training.
• Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and therapy for children with neurodevelopmental needs.
• Offer advice and consultation to non-psychologist colleagues within team policies.
• Utilize research skills for audit, policy and service development.
• Be accountable for direct delivery of clinical services to children and families.

Day Webster are currently recruiting for aBand 7 Practitioner Psychologist to support our client in Birmingham.

Full time/Part TimeBand 7 Practitioner Psychologist Needed!

• To deliver a Clinical Psychology Service commensurate with a Post Graduate Doctoral level of training.
• To provide a specialist clinical psychology service to children presenting with neurodevelopmental needs, across all sectors of care within the Birmingham catchment area.
• To provide specialist psychological diagnosis, assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on children’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other non professional carers, working autonomously within professionals guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
• To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the Psychology team members.
• To be accountable for the direct delivery of clinical services to children, their families and carers.

Hours– 37.5 hours
