Job summary

Day Webster Group are recruiting a Band 7 Practitioner Psychologist to support our client in Birmingham.

The post requires HCPC registration and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy).

You will deliver a specialist clinical psychology service to children with neurodevelopmental needs, provide assessments and therapy, and advise non‑psychologist colleagues while working autonomously within team policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) is required.
• CAMHS experience is essential.
• NHS experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a clinical psychology service commensurate with Doctoral level training.
• Provide specialist psychological diagnosis, assessment and therapy for children with neurodevelopmental needs.
• Advise non-psychologist colleagues and carers, while working autonomously within team policies.
• Utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development within the area served by the team.
• Be accountable for direct delivery of clinical services to children, families and carers.

Day Webster are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Practitioner Psychologist to support our client in Birmingham.

Full time/Part Time Band 7 Practitioner Psychologist Needed!

• To deliver a Clinical Psychology Service commensurate with a Post Graduate Doctoral level of training.
• To provide a specialist clinical psychology service to children presenting with neurodevelopmental needs, across all sectors of care within the Birmingham catchment area.
• To provide specialist psychological diagnosis, assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on children' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other non professional carers, working autonomously within professionals guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
• To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the Psychology team members.
• To be accountable for the direct delivery of clinical services to children, their families and carers.

Hours - 37.5 hours
