Job Title: Physiotherapist
Banding: Band 6/7

Duration: 5 Months
Rate: £26.00 – £31.00 Per Hour

Our client in Brighton is urgently seeking a passionate professional for an immediate start on a short-term contract. Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will provide therapy support to the Same Day Emergency Care Unit within an integrated therapy model. You will work independently as an autonomous practitioner and collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team. You will offer specialist assessment and intervention for individuals with various physical, cognitive, social, or perceptual deficits affecting their functional ability and safety at home, using an evidence-based and person-centred approach. You will ensure a proactive approach to rehabilitation to maintain and improve function, facilitating timely discharges with a ‘Home First’ mindset.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A recognised Physiotherapy degree or equivalent.
• HCPC registration.
• Significant experience working at Band 6 level, particularly with complex clinical cases.
• Experience in managing a clinical caseload independently and providing specialist assessments and interventions.
• Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to service development.
• Proficiency in clinical assessment and intervention techniques.
• Knowledge of up-to-date manual handling techniques and relevant legislation.
