Vacancy at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust

The PACS & RIS Administrator Site Lead will work independently in specific areas or specialities and collaborate with the radiology team, including consultants, registrars, radiographers, administrative and clerical staff, and nurses.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Liaise with Imaging Operations Managers, radiology clinical leads, external providers, internal staff and clinicians across the Trust.
• Demonstrate specialised knowledge and expertise in radiology IT systems, providing advice to users and managing peripheral interfaces, software, infrastructure, storage and image delivery.
• Supervise the day‑to‑day operation of Radiology IT systems, including PACS, RIS, Viewpoint, Image Exchange Portal (IEP) and electronic order communications.
• Ensure high‑quality images are available for diagnosis and treatment at all Royal Free London sites, based at the Royal Free Hospital but working across all sites as required.
