Seeking a highly skilled BAND 7 Occupational Therapist for a temporary Sickness Cover position. This role involves performing specialized OT assessments and implementing safe interventions to promote independence, reduce hospitalizations, and prevent residential care. The position requires 37 hours per week (09:00-17:30).

Responsibilities
  • Conduct highly skilled and specialised occupational therapy assessments.
  • Implement safe interventions promoting independence and minimising risk.
  • Specialise and lead in one or more OT disciplines (e.g., community, dementia, reablement, manual handling).
  • Assist with the management and development of Community Occupational Therapy services.
  • Ensure professional standards are consistently met.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Occupational Therapist.
  • Expertise in specialised OT disciplines (as listed above).
  • Experience in community-based therapy services development/management is desirable.
