Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Band 7 Locum Sonographer to join a leading Derby facility. You will perform high-quality ultrasound scans and provide accurate reporting to support patient care.

The ideal candidate holds HCPC registration and a postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound, with at least 2 years' experience across general, obstetric and gynecological ultrasound. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration or equivalent is essential.
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ ultrasound scanning experience.
• Competency in general, obstetric and/or gynecological ultrasound.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound protocols and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with obstetric, gynecological, general, MSK or vascular scans.
