Band 7 Locum MRI Radiographer – Scotland
Band: 7
Location: Scotland
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £35.00 – £36.00 p/h
Shift: Monday – Friday

About the role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Band 7 MRI Radiographer to join our team in Scotland. This ongoing position offers the chance to work in a modern healthcare facility, contributing to the delivery of top-tier diagnostic imaging services. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the radiology team, ensuring the provision of high-quality MRI scans to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities:

As a Band 7 MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing advanced MRI scans, maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety. You will manage the daily operations of the MRI suite, operate sophisticated imaging equipment, and ensure the accurate capture of diagnostic images. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, you will also be involved in patient preparation and support, as well as participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the department.

What we are looking for in a Radiographer:

  • HCPC registration as a Radiographer
  • Significant experience in MRI scanning, with proficiency in various MRI techniques and protocols
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workloads
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff is advantageous
