Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a skilled Locum Invasive Cardiac Physiologist in Rotherham for a 3-month full-time assignment, starting 20/09/2024, at a daily rate of £40–£50.

You will perform invasive cardiac procedures (angiograms, pacemaker insertions, EP studies), monitor patients, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and accurate records. Extension possible based on performance.

About the role

The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in Rotherham. This is a full-time position, starting on 20th September 2024, with a competitive hourly rate of £40 - £50. The role is initially for a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will perform invasive cardiac procedures, including angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies. You will monitor and assess patients’ cardiac function during procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. You will maintain accurate and detailed patient records. You will ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant qualifications and registration as a Cardiac Physiologist.
• Relevant qualifications and experience in invasive cardiac physiology.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology and invasive procedures.
• Experience in invasive cardiac procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
