Band 7 Locum Cath Lab Radiographer

£30.00 per hour

We are seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Locum Cath Lab Radiographer to join our team in Brighton and Hove. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a well-equipped Cardiac Catheterization Lab, contributing to advanced cardiovascular care. Responsibilities:

As a Locum Cath Lab Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing a range of imaging procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases. You will operate specialized imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images, support cardiologists during procedures, and ensure strict adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional care to patients, maintaining their safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
  • Extensive experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, preferably at Band 7 level.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiology imaging procedures.
  • Expertise in using Cath Lab imaging equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation protection and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy clinical environment.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and safety.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the department.
