Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Band 7 General Radiographer for a locum post in Milton Keynes. Start ASAP, with a Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 schedule and a pay rate of £30.00 per hour.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality radiographic services, including Fluoroscopy, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Ideal candidates will have a radiography degree, HCPC registration, and 1–2 years UK NHS/private experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise junior staff when required.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging results.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including Fluoroscopy, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes, ensuring comfort and informed consent.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment and participate in initial image interpretation and reporting of significant findings.
• Adhere to QA protocols and health and safety regulations and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide guidance to students and support staff, supporting ongoing professional development.
