Job summary

CNWL paediatric psychology services at Hillingdon Hospital, Uxbridge, are recruiting a Band 7 clinical psychologist to join a well established team. You will provide psychological thinking across the child and family journey, and work within an MDT with hospital and community colleagues to meet needs.

The post offers supportive supervision, opportunities for CPD and involvement in clinical governance to maintain best practice in line with local and national guidance.

• To take part in CPD, clinical governance forums and maintain and continue best practice in relation to local and national guidance.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Band 7 clinical psychologist to join our well established paediatric psychology service at Hillingdon Hospital, Uxbridge. We are a friendly, innovative and well valued team who work closely with our medical colleagues and this is a new post, as our service continues to expand. You would be well supported by our experienced team to develop and grow your clinical skills and be part of a wider MDT within the paediatric department.

CNWL paediatric psychology services are embedded in hospitals across NW London. We have provided services for many years in this area as well as developing new posts. We support each other with supervision, CPD, reflective practice and opportunities for learning in the wider mental health trust, and bring back this learning into an acute physical setting. We enjoy innovative and creative systemic working with the child younger person and family at the heart of how we work. Hillingdon Hospital NHS trust funds this service and is very open and valuing of psychological roles within their MDTs.
