Job summary

Cpl UK Healthcare is recruiting a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist for an ongoing temporary position in Bristol. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 5:15pm, at £30ph, with ASAP start to cover maternity leave in an established NHS hospital pharmacy team.

You will lead clinical services across wards, perform medicines reconciliation and MDT participation, and contribute to medicines optimisation and safe use of medicines across the trust.

Qualifications

• GPhC registration required.
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience.
• Postgraduate certificate or diploma in clinical pharmacy, or equivalent.
• Experience in ward-based clinical pharmacy work.
• Strong knowledge of medicines reconciliation, clinical screening and medicines optimisation.
• Ability to work independently with a varied workload.
• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.

Duties will include medicines reconciliation, clinical screening of prescriptions, ward-based pharmacy services, and participation in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings. You will also support medicines optimisation initiatives and contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines across the trust.
