Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the CAMHS Getting More Help Service, covering Reading, Wokingham and Newbury. Based at Erlegh House, University of Reading, the role involves working with children and young people with complex mental health needs who require intensive specialist support.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and eligible to practice as an OT.
• Experience in CAMHS or child mental health is desirable.
• Ability to lead OT service delivery within a MDT.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced OT assessments, interventions and outcome measures for children and young people.
• Provide specialist advice to the MDT on OT and evidence-based interventions.
• Promote recovery-focused, trauma-informed approaches.
• Lead OT service delivery within the CAMHS Getting More Help service.
• Offer supervision and training to junior colleagues.
