Rate: £25 - £27 per hour (Umbrella equivalent via DE)

We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Science Haematologist to join our esteemed client in Brighton. This role involves performing specialist haematology procedures, including blood analysis, coagulation studies, and transfusion science, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The successful candidate will work closely with pathologists and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high‑quality laboratory standards and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

The role requires expertise in haematology, including blood film analysis, full blood counts (FBC), and coagulation testing. The haematologist will be responsible for interpreting blood test results, assisting in diagnostic procedures, and providing technical advice to clinicians. Additionally, maintaining accurate laboratory records, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with UKAS accreditation standards are essential aspects of the role.
