We are seeking a skilled and motivated Band 6 Trauma and Orthopaedics (T&O) Physiotherapist to join our team at Barts NHS Trust. This role is based in London and involves working with patients in major trauma, plastics, ortho-trauma, spinal cord injury (SCI), and traumatic brain injury (TBI) settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy services, ensuring effective rehabilitation and recovery for our patients.
What will your responsibilities be:
As a Band 6 Trauma and Orthopaedics (T&O) Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy treatment programs for patients within the major trauma, plastics, ortho-trauma, SCI, and TBI settings. Your duties will include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to enhance patient mobility and function. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and will be expected to maintain accurate patient records and documentation. You will provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-management and recovery.
