Job summary

HCRG Care Group in Swindon is seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to support children aged 0-19 across home, school and community settings. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, delivering high quality assessments and developing individual care plans.

The role offers opportunities for professional development within the 0-19 Service, NHS pension, and access to learning resources. Part-time and full-time hours are available, with base at Saltway Centre, Swindon.

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree or equivalent.
• Health Professions Council – Licence to Practice.
• Knowledge of therapeutic interventions for the client group.
• Understanding of roles of other professionals involved.
• Knowledge of record-keeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech and language needs using standardised tools.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with parents, school staff and other agencies.
• Produce reports and care plans for education and health services.
• Maintain clear documentation and reflections on progress.
