We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neurology team as a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical leadership skills within Neurology while playing a key role in delivering safe, compassionate and high-quality patient care. Working alongside the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse, you will support the day-to-day leadership of the ward, co-ordinate patient care and provide support, supervision and leadership to the nursing team.
You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, act as a positive clinical role model and help create an environment in which staff are supported to develop and patients remain at the centre of care. You will also contribute to quality improvement, evidence-based practice and the continued development of the service. You will be expected to represent the ward in the absence of the Ward Leader.
Neurology is a rewarding and diverse speciality where no two days are the same. As a Band 6 within our team, you will have the opportunity to combine expert clinical care with leadership, staff development and service improvement.
We want our Band 6 nurses to feel empowered to make a difference. You will be encouraged to share ideas, support innovation, develop colleagues and work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible experience for our patients.
Whether you are an experienced Band 6 or an experienced Band 5 ready for your next challenge, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your confidence as a leader whilst building your specialist knowledge and experience within Neurology.
