By ensuring an accurate, relevant, timely financial data and resource management is provided to team managers for the purpose of budgetary control.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Finance Manager with comprehensive financial management and business support service to the CYP Division.
  • Produce and provide robust financial monitoring including budget setting, budgeting and budget reports, month‑end, financial forecasting, delivery of savings and general financial performance.
  • Maintain accurate, relevant and timely financial data and resource management for team managers to facilitate budgetary control.
  • Deputise for the Finance Manager and be the first point of contact for Budget Holders; meet regularly to resolve queries, provide financial performance feedback, and feed information into forecasting.
  • Build relationships with non‑finance colleagues to improve financial understanding and acumen for budget management and value for money.
  • Work with non‑finance managers to track income and expenditure and obtain relevant financial information to support forecasting and related actions.
  • Contribute as an active member of the Finance Directorate to its development.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working, typically requiring work from home and from the Trust HQ Uffculme Centre or any other agreed site.
