Job summary

Athona Limited is seeking an experienced Band 6 Staff Nurse for NHS prison healthcare in West Midlands. The role is inside IR35 with PAYE pay rates of £20-£32 per hour. You will provide high-quality care in a secure setting, working within a multidisciplinary team and ensuring accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates will hold current NMC registration and have Band 6 level experience in healthcare. Prison clearance is required, with strong communication and organisational skills to manage

• Experience working in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within a prison healthcare setting.
• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Support patients with physical and mental health needs.
• Complete clinical documentation and maintain patient records.
• Promote health and wellbeing and contribute to care planning.
• Respond to changes in patients’ clinical presentation.
• Follow policies, procedures and professional standards.
