Job Summary

Band 6 Podiatrist – Adult Community Services. Full or part time, bank contact. Highly motivated specialist podiatrist sought for community podiatry team.

Role Details & Location

Monday to Friday, no weekend or bank holiday work. Based at Jarvis Centre, Guildford or Haslemere Hospital. Will work across community clinics, hospitals, domiciliary service; require specialist skill set in MSK or diabetes/wound care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, develop and implement individual treatment plans for complex caseloads, working autonomously.
• Participate in nail surgery rotations, nail assessment clinic, musculoskeletal assessments and orthoses prescription (specialty‑dependent). Treat adults and children.
• Support and supervise Band 5 podiatrists, assistants, and students; work with leads and senior staff.

Essential Requirements

• BSc in Podiatric Medicine or equivalent.
• HCPC registration.
• Experience and knowledge of specialist areas of diabetes and vascular problems OR MSK.
• Driver’s licence and access to a car.
• Certificate in local anaesthesia.

Desirable

• Postgraduate training/qualifications.
• Evidence of post‑qualifying and continuing professional development.

Salary and Contract

Band 6 – £38,682 to £41,374 per annum (pro rata). Bank contract, flexible working.
