Job Title: Band 6 Paediatric Nurse

Salary: £30.00 per hour (gross, full rate)

Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Paediatric Nurse to work with an NHS Trust in Chadwell Heath. This full-time locum position is based in a Community Paediatric Nursing Service, with proposed working hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
The role is set to begin as soon as possible and will run until 30/01/2026, offering an hourly rate of £30.00 (gross, full rate). Please note that this position is inside IR35.

What sets this role apart is the chance to work within a dedicated community paediatric nursing team, delivering compassionate care to children and young people in their homes—improving quality of life and reducing hospital admissions.

To be eligible, you must have at least 2 years post-qualification experience as an RSCN or RNC, and clinical skills in IV therapy, central line management, venepuncture, oncology care, and wound care. Experience in community paediatric nursing is preferred.
Candidates must be on the DBS Update Service, fully compliant as soon as possible due to the urgency of the role, and have 3 years of employment references on file. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are also required.
