Responsibilities

  • Deliver core Orthoptic clinics to patients of all ages.
  • Conduct Pre-Op Assessments efficiently and effectively.
  • Undertake pre-school vision screening to aid early detection of vision issues.
  • Support Vision and Reading Orthoptic Clinics (VAROC) with your expertise.
  • Engage in colorimetry assessments and provide Low Vision support.
  • Contribute to post-operative adjustments for adult and paediatric patients.
  • Travel independently to clinics throughout Dumfries and Galloway, as required.
