Job Title: Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapy

Location: Wirral

Banding: Band 6 or Band 7

Start: ASAP

Duration: 3 months

Rate: £24–£32 per hour

Working hours: Full time & Part time

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist to join our client’s team in Wirral. This role involves conducting updated assessments for children with an EHCP, updating assessments and care plans, and providing face-to-face services. The successful candidate will support the communication and overall development of school-aged children.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans
  • Collaborating with families, educators, and healthcare professionals
  • Working across clinic and school settings in Wirral
  • Maintaining accurate records and participating in multidisciplinary meetings

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registration with HCPC or relevant professional body
  • Experience in NHS paediatric speech therapy roles
  • Masters Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent
  • Knowledge of paediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Proficiency with therapy platforms and technology
