Position: Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Young Adults Learning Disability Team
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, UK
Salary: £34,356 – £42,355 per annum
Employment Type: Full Time | Permanent

What You Will Do

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for young adults with diverse learning and physical disabilities.

Design and implement tailored therapy plans focused on developing independence and practical life skills.

Collaborate closely with families, educational staff, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to care.

Support smooth transitions into adulthood by fostering communication, independence, and employability skills.

Participate in Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) reviews and monitor therapeutic progress.

Provide supervision and mentorship to colleagues, contributing to a culture of growth and shared learning.
