Job summary

Your World is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Stroke Service in Redruth as a locum. The role requires NHS experience in acute Stroke/Neuro, HCPC registration, and a start within two weeks for an initial 12-week contract with possible extension.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, an attentive listener and enjoy problem solving, delivering high-quality care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum NHS experience (6–12 months) within Stroke and Neuro Rehabilitation, ideally acute, but strong community candidates may be considered.
• Occupational Therapy degree (MSc or BSc) and HCPC registration.
• Available to start within 2 weeks and commit to a minimum of three months.

Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Stroke Service

Our Client based in Redruth is looking to hire a Locum Occupational Therapist with strong experience working within Acute Stroke and Neuro Team.

The post is initially for 12 weeks; however, a further extension may be offered to the successful candidate. The hourly pay rate for this role is £23.00 - £27.00 P/H.

You will need to meet the below criteria to be considered for this position:

Have a minimum of 6-12 months of NHS experience within Stroke and Neuro Rehabilitation, ideally in acute setting, but strong candidates with community experience may be considered for this post.

Hold Occupational Therapy degree (MSc or BSc) and full HCPC registration.

Be available to commence the role within a maximum of 2 weeks from the confirmation and happy to commit to a minimum period of three months.
