A mental health care provider in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Band 6 CAMHS clinician to join their Urgent Care and Assessment Team. The ideal candidate will have professional registration and experience in mental health assessment. Responsibilities include urgent assessments for young people in crisis and collaborating with various agencies. The role offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to make a significant impact on youth mental health.
We are looking for a Band 6 CAMHS clinician to join our Urgent Care and Assessment Team (UCAT) in North Somerset. The post is open to Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and clinicians who hold suitable professional registration. If you are unsure whether your registration is applicable, please contact us before applying.
UCAT is a growing specialist team co‑located with the wider North Somerset CAMHS service and closely linked to the CAMHS Intensive Outreach Team (CIOT), our partners in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Applicants must hold suitable professional registration and have experience in assessment and management of complex risks. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working collaboratively across health, education and social care settings.
This role covers shifts from Monday to Sunday, 09:00 to 22:00.
