Job Title: Locum Podiatrist
Band: 6

Rate: £24-27 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: Full-time and part-time considered

We are seeking two experienced Locum Podiatrists to join a team in St Helens, North-West. The role is focused on clinic-based high-risk wound care, providing a critical service to patients with complex podiatric needs. The position is available immediately, with full-time and part-time options considered. This ongoing contract offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a busy clinical environment while delivering high-quality care to those with high-risk conditions.

Responsibilities:
As a Locum Podiatrist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of high-risk patients, delivering advanced wound care, and performing podiatric assessments and treatments. You will provide specialist care for patients with diabetic foot issues, ulcers, and other complex wound care needs, ensuring effective treatment and positive outcomes. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and improve patient quality of life. The role also involves keeping accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC Registration as a Podiatrist
  • Experience in high-risk wound care and diabetic foot care
  • Strong clinical skills in podiatric assessment and treatment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Previous clinic-based experience is desirable
