Job Title: Locum Physiotherapist
Banding: 6
Location:Teddington
Rate: £24 – £27 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months (likely extension)
Working Hours: Full-time

Opening Paragraph:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Locum Physiotherapist to join the Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust team in Teddington. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work within the community, supporting patients in their homes and local community settings. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality physiotherapy services aimed at improving the mobility and independence of patients. This is an excellent opportunity to work autonomously in a dynamic and varied setting while making a tangible difference in patients’ lives.

Responsibilities:
As a Locum Physiotherapist within the community, you will assess, plan, and deliver physiotherapy interventions for patients with various conditions including musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory issues. You will conduct home visits, create individualized rehabilitation plans, and support patients in achieving their functional goals. Working closely with other healthcare professionals, you will contribute to a holistic care approach and help patients regain independence through evidence-based therapies. You will manage your caseload, document patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC Registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Experience working as a Physiotherapist within the NHS or a community healthcare setting.
  • Proven experience in managing a varied caseload, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
