Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Rate: £27.65 – £29.52 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a Band 6 Locum Neuro Rehab Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy team in Lewisham. In this role, you will provide specialized physiotherapy services for patients in need of neuro rehabilitation, working within the community and various clinical settings.

What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapy role?

As a Band 6 Locum Neuro Rehab Physiotherapist You will conduct thorough assessments of patients with neurological conditions to identify their rehabilitation needs. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and improving functional independence. You will provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including exercises and therapies tailored to each patient’s specific condition. You will monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on clinical observations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and effective communication regarding patient management. You will maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and patient progress in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Must be a registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Must hold a relevant degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Experience in neuro rehabilitation is essential.
  • Community experience and knowledge of orthopaedics, care of the elderly, respiratory, and musculoskeletal outpatients are desirable.
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Must demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
