We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Band 6 Locum General Radiographer to join a well-established healthcare facility in Reading. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a radiographer looking to enhance their experience in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities:

As a General Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with clinical protocols and safety guidelines. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and optimal patient care. Your duties will include operating imaging equipment, maintaining patient records, ensuring radiation protection compliance, and providing support and reassurance to patients throughout their procedures.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration is essential.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Radiography.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ post-registration experience in general radiography.
  • Experience working in a busy imaging department.
  • Knowledge of radiation protection and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
