Band 6 Locum General Community Dietitian – Luton

  • Position: Band 6 Locum General Community Dietitian
  • Banding: 6
  • Location: Luton (with flexible working arrangement: 3 days remote, 2 days in the local area)
  • Hours: Full and part-time considered
  • Start Date: End of October
  • Duration: 3 months with the possibility to extend
  • Rate: £25.00 – £28.00 P/H (subject to experience)
Job Description:

As a General Community Dietitian, you will manage a diverse adult caseload across community settings, including home visits, community clinics, and mental health inpatient wards.

What will you be doing in this Dietetics role?

Your role will involve providing nutritional assessments and interventions tailored to individual needs, ensuring optimal dietary management for patients with various conditions. Additionally, you will support mental health services, addressing specific dietary requirements and contributing to multidisciplinary care teams.

Requirements:
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered
  • Relevant degree in Dietetics or a related field
  • Proven experience in community dietetics
  • Experience in managing caseloads in both community and inpatient settings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in using relevant IT systems and tools
