A leading mental health organization in Birmingham is seeking a Duty and Care Co-ordinator Nurse to support teams managing crises and caseloads. The role involves independent practice, assessing nursing care, and ensuring communication pathways. Candidates must have experience working in community settings. Salary ranges from £38,682 to £46,580 per year, pro rata.

Longbridge CMHT is looking for a Duty worker to support the team in managing the busy CMHT duty system for part of role, and managing a small caseload for other part. The successful individual will work with a dedicated and hardworking team to work with individuals who are in crisis or in need of urgent intervention, alongside working across CMHT in supporting caseload needs.
The post holder will act as an independent practitioner within a defined community setting, while liaising with other professionals as necessary.
Will be responsible for the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of nursing care within agreed parameters, and have a working knowledge local, national policies and legislation, which govern current service provision and audit.
Will be responsible for ensuring effective communication pathways exist.
Will be responsible for ensuring the promotion of equality diversity and rights in accordance with good practice and legislation.
Will be responsible for identifying and contributing to the training needs necessary in providing quality evidence based care as appropriate.
