Sanctuary Personnel Limited seeks a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse specializing in Early Intervention in Psychosis in Keighley, UK. This full-time locum role runs for 3 months with flexible hours around a 9am–5pm core schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care plans for individuals in the early stages of psychosis (age 14+).
• Assess health and social care needs, negotiating effective plans with service users and carers.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary colleagues within CPA structures.
• Engage service users in community settings, building therapeutic relationships with them and families.
• Provide age-, culture-, and gender-sensitive services using evidence-based interventions.
• Manage risk and ensure adherence to child protection guidelines.
• Educate service users and families about first episode psychosis and offer carer support.
• Foster relationships with mental health services, primary care and partner agencies.
• Ensure access to housing and education; liaise with relevant services.
• Engage in prevention and crisis planning to help avoid hospitalisation when possible.
• Participate in public awareness and training for early detection of psychosis.
• Maintain professionalism and contribute to audits and research.
