Job summary

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join a well-established NHS Community Mental Health Team based within the Birmingham area of West Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RMN seeking a full-time agency position with regular weekday hours, a supportive multidisciplinary team and the potential to secure a long‑term contract.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN).
• Experience in a Community Mental Health Team is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of adults with complex mental health needs in the community.
• Complete comprehensive mental health assessments using clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
• Develop collaborative, person-centred care plans with risk management and independence.
• Build therapeutic relationships with service users and coordinate with families and agencies.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.
