A healthcare provider in Yorkshire is seeking a Band 6 case loading midwife to deliver personalized care and strengthen community health efforts. This role focuses on vulnerable groups and advocates for health equity. The successful candidate will engage in a three-year maternity transformation plan. As a Band 6 case loading midwife, you will deliver personalised care. Characteristics of your caseload include asylum‑seeking , teenage pregnancies, drug and alcohol misuse, significant safeguarding concerns and those in prison.
Your opportunities will include implementation of the maternity disadvantage tool, further development of local agreed policy and guidance and demonstrable impact on the well‑being of the community through audit.
You will build close working relationships with key stakeholders and specialists, including the MDT, Social Care for Adults and Children, Safeguarding Leads and other key services.
This is an opportunity for a midwife with a passion for equality and advocacy. With effective communication skills and an organised professional, you will be dedicated to service development and improvement, through student support, MDT working and knowledge sharing.

The role will provide personalised antenatal and postnatal care to women and birthing people who experience vulnerabilities.
The aim is to improve health equity in the Scarborough region.
