Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology to join our Portsmouth team on a three-month locum contract. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for late shifts as you develop in the position.

The ideal candidate will have Haematology and Coagulation laboratory experience, with access to training and professional development throughout the assignment.

• Coagulation laboratory experience preferred
• Locum, full-time contract for 3 months

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive investigations on tissue and body fluid samples to support disease diagnosis and monitor patient treatment.
• Utilise advanced Haematology and Coagulation expertise, operating confidently at a Band 6 specialist level.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (DxH900, Stago Star Max 3, Starsted ESR analysers) and use Winpath Enterprise LIMS.
• Deliver accurate and timely laboratory results essential for patient care and treatment.

We’re on the hunt for a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology to join our dynamic team in Portsmouth, UK. This exciting locum position offers a competitive pay rate of up to £26.00 per hour. Initially, you will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm while training, with potential late shifts from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm or 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm as you develop into the role. This contract is for an engaging three-month period with the potential for renewal.
