Position Type: Full-Time (3-month contract)
Rate: £24.00 – £27.00 per hour

Job Description:
Livewell Southwest CIC is seeking a Band 6/7 Locum Physiotherapist to join our team in Mount Gould, Plymouth. This role involves managing a varied caseload and providing high-quality physiotherapy services to support the rehabilitation and well-being of our patients.

What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapist role?

As a Band 6/7 Locum Physiotherapist you will conduct thorough assessments of patients with diverse needs, developing individualized treatment plans to address their specific conditions. You will implement and monitor a range of physiotherapy interventions, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s requirements. You will maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with healthcare standards and regulations. You will also provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-management and understanding of their conditions.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
  • Experience in a variety of physiotherapy settings, managing a diverse caseload
  • Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
