We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing high-quality care to patients presenting with acute illness or injury. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll be involved in the assessment, planning, and delivery of care for a diverse patient group. You’ll contribute to a supportive and collaborative working culture, where patient safety and dignity are at the heart of everything we do. This position is ideal for nurses who are confident in their clinical skills, adaptable to changing situations, and committed to continuous learning. You’ll gain valuable experience in emergency care while being supported in your professional development.
To work within multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan and implement care & treatment for all types emergency presentations - adults, paediatrics resuscitation/ trauma/ minor injuries & illnesses and the acutely unwell. This will include supporting their relatives and carers and providing end of life care. Teaching and supporting students in practice.
