Qualifications

  • Valid UK HCPC PN Registration or NMC PIN Registration required with a post-graduate UK recognised anaesthetic qualification.
  • Current anaesthetic experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Practice anaesthetics in various surgical specialities including Obstetrics, Paediatrics, and Urology.
  • Cover cardiac catheter lab and rotate on emergency bleep for trauma and airway intervention calls.
  • Adapt to changes and work effectively as a team player under pressure.

  • Current anaesthetic experience.

We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dynamic practitioners to join our friendly multi‑disciplinary team.

Shift Pattern

The shift pattern is three long days a week, from Monday to Sunday or three‑night shifts per week. There will be a mixture of nights and days on a four‑week template.

Responsibilities
  • Practice anaesthetics in a variety of surgical specialities including Obstetrics, Paediatrics, ENT, Urology, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Oral and Maxillofacial, Colorectal, and Robotics.
  • Cover outlying areas such as the cardiac catheter lab and rotate on the emergency bleep covering cardiac arrests, trauma call and other airway intervention calls.
  • Adapt to change and remain calm and focused under pressure, working effectively as a team player within the existing theatre teams.
