A prominent healthcare provider in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Midwife to provide comprehensive midwifery care. For this post, we are looking for midwives who have qualified and have a UK NMC Pin. This job offer will be for our ORC site.
You will be expected to participate fully in your personal development whilst undertaking a period of structured preceptorship. You will be expected to complete all competencies within the preceptorship framework within 18 months.
Under the direction and support of the team leader and senior colleagues, you will provide midwifery care which will include the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in midwifery care over a 24‑hour period for women and their families.
You will be required to practice in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and Trust policies to ensure a safe and quality service is provided.
As a motivating and inspirational team member, you'll be a resource for all our midwives, support staff and students, encouraging a high level of achievement in everyone you work with. You'll all ensure the clinical environment is conducive to supporting education and learning.
Your will be required to understand and appreciate the cost implications associated with our service, and ensure the effective use of all the resources we use.
